A mysterious parcel wrapped in brown paper has appeared at the door. Excitedly I open it to discover it is a lovely box of tea bags from Clipper Tea. How splendid! I have been chosen to be an official “clipper sipper” for February where Clipper Tea offer an opportunity to “taste test” one of their teas every month. I adore Clipper art work, and with their organic credentials, you feel good about the tea before you have even taken your first sip.
Clipper Organic Green Tea and Strawberry
Confessions upfront in my first sipper review, although organic green tea with strawberry is far from top of my tea list, the sweet aroma of the unbleached bags arises my curiosity as well as appealing to organic sensibilities. My first slurp at 1 minute is delicate and fragrant fruit with a hint of green tea, the emphasis in flavour steadily reversing as it reaches 3 minutes. My recommendation is a quick dunk to deliver the optimum blend. Absolutely no to milk with this healthful brew of conscience in a cup that leaves me feeling nicely revived.
